They Come Here

They come here.

Sometimes in the cold and dark. Sometimes in the light and warmth.

All times, all days. All workouts.

They come because the workout is hard. They come because they’re tired of easy

  • Tired of a world that doesn’t challenge them
  • Tired of words like acceptable, adequate, okay.
  • Tired of “good enough.”

They threw these words away long ago and walked through the doors to this gym.

To chase excellence, to chase outstanding, to chase something more.

They come here to become better athletes and better people.

Better friends, better parents, better daughters, better sons, better lovers, better whatever the hell they want to be.

Better.

And why the heck not?

We could all have worse addictions.
