Get Back On The Horse

So, you ate too much this weekend.

Join the club.

Maybe you drank too much also – a few libations turned into a few too many. Yup. Been there.

Happens to all of us.

But what separates the men from the boys, the women from the girls, the dogs from the cats, the Walter Whites from the Jesse Pinkmans of this world is what happens next.

Either you give up and join the Train to Slothville (it runs continuously from now until Jan 2nd and the cars are full!) or you double down your bet and go hard – as hard as you can, from right now until you freaking hear Santa's sleigh bells.

It's totally up to you.

Give in, or fight. Feel sorry for yourself or hold your head high.

You can get right back on the righteous trail if you want to – but you have to want it.

Clean eating, hard workouts, good sleep. At every chance you get.

Now, you're not going to be a robot and skip all the holiday parties, nor are you going to refuse every delicious treat offered your way, but you're going to be smart.

Pick your battles. A few drinks at this party, but not that one. A cookie or two on Saturday, but not all day Sunday. One night at the strip club instead of four. (Just threw that in to make sure you were paying attention.)

Be smart.

Take care of yourself so that when you hit Jan 2nd, you don't hate yourself or how you look and feel.

Falling off the horse is okay. It hurts, but it's okay. Just make sure you get back up and hop on that beast again ... and f***ing RIDE.
