What You Make Of It
I can't complain. No, actually I shouldn't complain. I'm writing here about improving our fitness, improving our lives, improving the world – and the fact that I write or we read here is often overlooked. We are lucky. Very lucky, you and I.Chances are you're reading this from your laptop or your iPad or your phone. You probably have a membership at a gym. And a home. Maybe a car. You can read. You don't worry about where you're going to sleep tonight or how you're going to find food for dinner with only some change rattling in your pocket – or food for your kids, who are hungry too. And you have the desire and the time to improve your fitness, your mind, your life, your world. You've got some advantages over a large portion of the world's population. So don't f*** it up.Be smart with your body, be smart with your nutrition, be smart with your life.Don't sit back and feel smug or guilty. That would be a sin. And please stop arguing over trivialities and wasting precious moments of a day you won't ever see again. This world is exactly what you make it.No better or worse than your own attitude every single day. And if you can improve yourself, well, you can improve the world too.So go out and master your world. You're lucky. Build on that. Earn it. Go hard. And rise up instead of tear down.
