Get Rid of That Word

You can't fight gravity.

You can't fight city hall.

You can't fight the man.

All these "can'ts" that people tell you, sell you, pass down from generation to generation.

These bumpers, these governors, these preemptive strikes on our ambitions, our lives, our souls. This well-meaning advice that rots original thinking and bows the head of nonconformity.

Toss that garbage.

Leave it for those who are content to rest in the bosom of mediocrity.

Nothing great was ever achieved without the spirit of "Oh, yes I can."
