Figuring Out Your Shit

The end of a year is always a time to reflect.

  • What did you do right this year?

  • What could you have done better?

  • What do you never want to do again?

People make New Year's resolutions.

They will break.

Instead of drawing up a whole list of resolutions, just draft one sentence.

Like "I will be magnanimous."

(Yes, that was my resolution one year — and it really worked.)

Or "I will try harder."

  • I will eat vegetables.

  • I will sleep 7 hours a night.

  • I will be kind.

  • I will clean 135 lbs.

  • I will get a pull-up.

  • I will get a muscle-up.

ONE goal.

And if you achieve your goal early? Pick another one.

Life's about improving. It's time to get your shit in order. Saddle up. The new year promises to be a hell of a ride.
