On Not Having It All
I don't think I have it all.
And I'm not sure I even want it all.
But I know how to have enough, and I know this: a great life is about subtraction.
What? Isn't a good life supposed to be about addition? About having more, being more, getting more?
Yes ... and no.
A good life has more than what it needs.
A great life has that which it needs.
Take a look around yourself: your work, your home, your gym, your closet. Is there extra? Are there distractions? Is there bullshit?
And, more importantly, would life be better if you got rid of the bullshit?
If so, then do it.
Get rid of what you don't need.
I'm willing to bet you'll feel surprisingly free.
Maybe having it all is actually about having what you need.
