- Ever fail on a push jerk at eyebrow level?
- Ever get a press past your forehead and then have it come right back down?
- Ever get a clean up to your nipples and then have it crash on the ground instead of your shoulders?
Congratulations, you let you beat you.
You had the strength, you had the bar on its way, all you had to do was finish.
Instead, you went on a 100-mile drive and you just stopped at mile 80.
You wouldn’t do that on a kettlebell swing, or a run, or a box jump. So don’t do it with the barbell.
Don’t give up at mile 80. In the gym, in your job, in your relationships. Finish what you started.
Think about that in whatever you’re doing for the rest of the day.
Finish. Always finish.
