Hope

If we are lucky, it is in our nature to hope.

If we are blessed, it is in our nature to help others find the hope they have lost.

If we are smart, we do not simply hope at the barbell, however. We work and we practice and we study and we train. And then we lift. Just like in the rest of our lives.

Hope won't get you results. Only work will.

But hope will keep your heart alive while you are working.

Never underestimate the power of hope: in your lift, in your work, in your love, in your life.

I do not exaggerate when I say hope keeps me breathing some days.

Hope is like oxygen for the soul.

Breathe in. Deep. Hope.

And now lift the weight in all of your life.
