Throwing Your Baggage From the Top of the Train

I write things or say things, and there are always people who reply with some form of this: "You know, it's not that easy."

I agree 100%.

Nope. It's not that easy. Like this video where I tell you to throw your baggage from the train. It's not easy. In fact, throwing your baggage from the train is really hard. Very difficult. Requires a lot of strength. Feels almost impossible for some folks.

That baggage is part of you—those old injuries and hurts are embedded in you. They taught you things. How can you give any of that up?

But listen closely, because I'm not asking you to toss the lessons. I want you to keep the lesson, and toss the hurt. The baggage is your hurt. The baggage is your injuries.

The baggage is what's weighing you down, not lifting you up.

And that's the hard part. This won't be easy. Nope. If you say, "It's not that easy, Lisbeth", then I'm going to agree with you 100%.

Tossing your baggage is going to be hard.

You're going to want to cuddle with your baggage, and massage it, and stroke it. Your baggage carries a lot of your ego. It's hard to part with anything related to your ego. So hard.

But I'm betting you're not scared by hard.

You're not daunted. In fact, you might even like it. Because if you were scared by hard, you probably wouldn't be reading my words or watching my videos. You would probably avoid me like Ebola. Because I'm not going to take it easy on you. I'm not going to offer you a pillow or a candy. Instead, I'm going to tell you that life is hard and some parts are going to get harder, but that's okay. You're up to this. You can do it. I have faith.

I may not even know you and I have faith in you.

That's crazy, right? I might be crazy. I've never discounted that possibility. What I won't do, however, is discount your possibility to improve. Or mine.

And I know a greater number of people have been freed by tossing their baggage than by cuddling up with it.

So, I'm here to tell you: Let that f***** fly.
